Married but Single...
A few months ago I was in a foreign country and discovered my better half started an affair, I was shattered and drew closer to God, more than ever before.
I learned how to be strong (against my will) and to still care for my children. I only cried in the dead of night and was too ashamed to confide in anybody around me...
A few months after I returned home with my children and bumped into a high school girlfriend of mine and opened up to her, she burst out with laughter, which left me somewhat confused... I was shocked that my friend thought my situation was a joke, until she spoke and told me that she is in the exact same boat as me.
It made me realize how little we know about the next person.
We have so many strong females, being abused (on so many different levels and forms) by the very person they open their hearts to, telling and showing them our most vulnerable points, with the hopes that they won't ever hurt us in that way.
My husband walked out on my children and I, because he was bedazzled by what the young lady could offer him, which was a bit of glitz and glamour which his very wallet had to cover.
On the other hand I am blessed to see my children grow up and to be able to guide them as best I can, by the grace of God.
On a few occasions Jeremiah 29 v 11 came to me through various forms, and it reassured me that God's hand is hovering over us, and He came through for us so many times. I am truly thankful for my journey thus far and can proudly proclaim: I AM A CHILD OF GOD.
Little bit of advice ladies: God won't EVER send you another woman's husband.

I'm back
Can you believe it?. It's been some weeks or is it months?
I took some time off, away from my blog. Plus I found a new hobbie... Semi prescious gem stones... I'm busy collecting them. Reading about them and the energy the stones contain. How they work with your aura etc.
I was hoping to go and buy some stones this weekend, but my baby turned 1 years old yesterday and I need to give her a little party.. so the thought of buying my stones must wait a little.

Self Image
After the birth of my baby girl Caitlyn, I picked up an extra 5 kilograms... which I thought fitted well with my body. But everywhere I go and all my school friend will turn and say "Gee, Em. You got fat.." I'll laugh, and say I know, but I love my new body... and we'll move onto the next topic.
Lately, I'm starting to think that I AM FAT.
Why do we think so much of what other people has to say or even think about us?
This is really one of the biggest Pain inflicting topics that so many men and women are dealing with. We know that we feel good and that's the important thing. If you know in the back of your head that you're unhappy with your weight, than you should do something about it before it gets out of hand.
But if you know you look good and feel good, than it shouldn't matter what your neighbour think and says about you.

Babies
Now this is what I call a blessing.
My brothers girlfriend gave birth on Saturday evening to a healthy baby boy. She has no idea how this little baby will full fill her life, how she'll never feel empty or alone again. How she'll love the fact that this little boy (Kaleb) depends on her.
Well this is how i felt after I gave birth to my bundle of joy. The transformation that actually takes place after birth (emotionally), is amazing!!
I wish them all the happiness little Kaleb will bring into their lives.
May she raise him to be a strong gentle man.
