Babies

Now this is what I call a blessing.

My brothers girlfriend gave birth on Saturday evening to a healthy baby boy. She has no idea how this little baby will full fill her life, how she'll never feel empty or alone again. How she'll love the fact that this little boy (Kaleb) depends on her.

Well this is how i felt after I gave birth to my bundle of joy. The transformation that actually takes place after birth (emotionally), is amazing!!

I wish them all the happiness little Kaleb will bring into their lives.

May she raise him to be a strong gentle man.

Family

I would like to introduce you all to the 2 shining stars in my life.

This is my fiance and our daughter Caitlyn.

It's the best thing to wake up with these two by your side. And if you had a BAD day... believe me that you'll forget it the instant you see the ocean & mountain with these 2 next to you.

I took this picture of Table mountain this morning on my way to work. And the other was just a peaceful Sunday afternoon at home.

Aah. I love this!

Rat Race

What is it that makes us stay in this rat race?

Could it be that we're doing all this because we need to provide and survive. If so than, how come we struggle so much, can't get out of it, going in circles...

Every month we're trapped.. in a cage (work), going round and round, we get the cheese, take it home share it , eat it and we end up short. We borrow to get through the month, and the cycle starts again.

If you have a solution to this Rat Race, Please share it with me...

I'll be forever greatful

Friends

When does one classify a friend as a true friend?

It's amazing.

Just think about it... when you were little you had the world of friend and you could hardly remember all their names. I remember I use to feel like a celebrity in school. A little star, cause everybody knew my name... But as you grow up you start to filter your friends to the handful you currently have and you classify them as "TRUE FRIENDS", but are they really..?

I recently had an episode with one of my girlfriends where she came to visit and made all the plans in the world, was in Cape Town for two weeks and I never even got to spend a day with her, cause she was never at home always out with the other friends... the kind that rocks up when there's a party but always unavailable when you need a shoulder to cry on.

Now I'm questioning myself, as to why do I always make time for the ones who doesn't have any time for me, or why am I such a good friend to those who only use me when they're in need?

But I suppose I still have hope that one day my "friends" will grow up and start to appreciate the quality & true friendship that I offer..

Or am I just fooling myself?

Old Staff vs New Staff

I currently stay in one of the most beautiful parts of Cape Town (Blouberg). I have everything in my life that I could ask for... but lately it looks like things with my collegues are changing my happiness at work. Or should I say "A colleague"!

I don't know what it is with old staff that always treats the new staff like they're not strong enough or tough enough to endure the dailly stresses at work.

But if it comes down to any one leaving that office...
I'm proud to say... It won't be me.
